Tarmac Trading Limited has sumitted a major outline plannning application to North Warwickshire Borough Council

The Borough Council are now consulting on the Draft Submission Local Plan.  The consultation ran until 31st January 2018 but has now been extended until 16th March and will now include additional evidence-based documents.

Warwickshire County Council  has made a Temporary Traffic Order closing Grange Road, from its junction with Nuneaton Road and for a distance of 50 metres, to vehicular traffic.

The Borough Council has agreed its submission version of the Local Plan.  Prior to submitting the document to Government there is one final consultation period.  This consultation period will run until 31st January 2018. Please ensure any comments are submitted by this date as any comments received after this date will not be considered.
 
The Local Plan when adopted will replace the Core Strategy 2014 and the saved policies of the Local Plan 2006.
 
A Sustainability Appraisal of the document has also been prepared for consultation which evaluates how social, environmental and economic issues have been taken into account in the preparation of the plan.

A steering group made up of Parish Councillors and member of the Residents Association are holding a drop-in-session on Friday 14th August - 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. at the Community Centre Church Road, to discuss the Draft Plan.

All of the Parish Grit Bins are replenished by the Highway Authority, Warwickshire County Council. The Parish Council does not have the facility to store grit or re-stock empty bins.

The Consultation on the Designation of the Neighbourhood Area has now finished

Core Strategy
In accordance with Regulation 26 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 the North Warwickshire Core Strategy was adopted by North Warwickshire Borough Council on 9th October 2014.
 

The Core Strategy forms a key part of the Local Plan (formerly the Local Development Framework (LDF) for North Warwickshire . It contains a vision and strategic objectives for the Borough, as well as Core Policies that will set the basis for directing development for the next 15 to 20 years.

HARTSHILL PARISH COUNCIL has applied to North Warwickshire Borough Council for designation of a Neighbourhood Plan Area under Part 2 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012. 

This application can be viewed here . Alternatively copies of the documents can be viewed at Main Reception, Council Offices, South Street , Atherstone , CV9 1DE , the Borough’s Leisure Centre’s, the “BOB” hubs and at all local libraries
